Citation Converter is a work-in-progress web app designed to help students and researchers convert between competing formats of academic citations.
It is useful when a researcher is using a source that provides a citation in one format, but the researcher is citing in another format.
In this case, instead of rewriting the entire citation, the researcher can use Citation Converter to easily convert it.
It is also useful for converting an entire bibliography from one format to another. Citation Converter is currently in progress, and bugs and missing features are to be expected.
However, they are being addressed constantly, so if you encounter a problem, please report it by clicking "Report a bug" at the bottom of the page.
Citation Converter was developed by Mckenna Cisler, a student and programmer who thought a citation converter would be a useful research tool.
Citation Converter was also Mckenna's final project for the Harvard computer science course CS50.
